Hello, I’m Joel Wood, founder of Roy F. Johnson Co. My background combines years of hands-on mechanical field experience with engineering focused project coordination. This company closes the gap between design intent and real installation conditions.
Early in my career, I worked directly with engineers and procurement teams, learning how even small documentation gaps or equipment mismatches could impact entire projects. That experience shaped how I approach every job today. Rather than operating only as a plumbing and HVAC equipment sales representative, I focus on helping teams think through system layout, equipment compatibility, and long term performance before materials ever reach the site. I enjoy working on complex builds that require careful coordination, from pump selection to HVAC integration, and I stay involved wherever technical clarity is needed. Each project brings a new opportunity to collaborate, solve challenges, and support smoother execution across commercial and institutional environments.
As a manufacturers' representative, my role goes far beyond order processing.
